Top 5 most cool and scary Black & White face metal dudes

Yeah, they all look the same. Even when they’re on color or B&W tv, they all look the same. Here is a top 5 list of the best B&W faced metal guys. It’s kind of funny the way these guys look. I think there was one day, and then suddenly they decided to dress up like an evil-satanic-crazy-skinny-panda-bear from hell. And somehow they’re always pissed, most of all, the scandinavian ones.
Anyway, there’re no specific criteria for this list, I basically compiled a few and most well-known artists and posted it. Here we go:
Gene Simmons (Kiss): Kiss concerts are one of the most fun of rock&roll universe. Fireworks, shooting rockets, pyrotechnics and band members literally flying through the stage make Kiss concerts a spectacular show! Gene Simmons himself is a true showman. The way he looks like a demoniac clown from hell is quite scary, mostly when he turns his eyes and begin to spill blood, showing his nasty tongue. First place goes to him, due to his pioneering and historical value to rock & roll.

King Diamond: One of the most iconic dudes in Heavy Metal scene! He has an unique vocal range that very few can really do it. His voice is simply unmistakable, you can be 100000 miles away, and when he screams probably you’ll recognize: it’s the King! Despite his great voice, I think he tries to be a scary metal dude, but his lame lyrics are more funny than any other thing. Well, maybe some kid would be frightened about it. Nevertheless, I really appreciate his songs (solo and with Mercyful Fate).

Abbath Doom Occulta (Immortal):  From Norway, here is one of the founding members of the norwegian (from Bergen) black metal band “Immortal”. His real name is Olve Eikemo, and according to Wikipedia he was a great Kiss fan when he was younger. The thing is that this guy and the next ones of the list are truly scary. Look their names! What the f*ck! I don’t know much about Norway, but somehow some of the best black metal bands come from there, and around. Maybe Satan is Scandinavian, who knows?

Infernus (Gorgoroth): Here is a tiny excerpt from their website – “After making a pact with the Devil in 1992, Infernus founded Gorgoroth, an early Norwegian black metal….” . Yeah… His name wasn’t enough (his true name is Roger), he has this wicked look and he is a real Satanist. A real badass. Bad to the bone. Well… he made a pact with the devil. What else should I say? I think one day he’ll find some light in his norwegian catacomb, and hopefully he won’t meet anyone like John Constantine. This is a really sick video… Discretion is advised.

Shagrath (Dimmu Borgir): Stian Tomt Thoresen is the real name of Shagrath. Shagrath has said this about his stage name: "Shagrath is an orc demon from the book Lord of the Rings. I chose the name thirteen years ago, so it's kinda crappy that Lord of the Rings has become so big now. Fortunately it [the name] didn't get that much attention in the movie, so it turned out all right”. Yeah… Another lad who took inspiration from evil stuff.  Anyway, despite the satanic crap, I think it’s pretty interesting the way Dimmu Borgir mix Symphonic material to their extreme aggressiveness.

And this is it. It’s worth mentioning artists such as Marduk, Euronymous (Mayhem), Cradle of Filth Rob Zombie, Marylin Manson, among others.
Cheers,
Ed
